UCU Branch Officers wrote to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Bob Cryan, on Friday 28th April with a number of legitimate queries, questions, and objections to the threatened 100% pay deductions for members engaged in action short of a strike. Over two weeks later the VC has not responded. We feel that this shows a woeful lack of respect for the recognised trades unions and their elected representatives, and we have now written to the VC once again demanding answers.
